- The butterflies seen here are actually a species of moth, the Jersey Tiger Moth (Panaxia Quadripunctaria).
- Please do not disturb or touch the butterflies—clapping or loud noises can harm them by forcing them to fly and waste precious energy needed for reproduction.
- The best time to visit is early morning or late afternoon for cooler temperatures and fewer visitors.
- The valley can be humid and slippery, so wear comfortable, non-slip shoes.
- Outside the butterfly season, the valley is still a beautiful and tranquil destination for a nature walk.
